The European Doctoral School on CSDP is pleased to announce the opening of its 2026–2027 call for applications. We are looking for up to 10 Doctoral Fellows whose research focuses on the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) and/or the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP).
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- PhD enrolment: be enrolled at a CSDP Doctoral School accredited member institution, or have received confirmation of acceptance by one or more accredited institutions (according to their rules) as leading institution(s) for the doctorate, and have paid any required fees, if any;
- Academic or professional background: hold scientific higher education degree(s) worth at least 300 ECTS, or have relevant professional experience recognised as equivalent within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA);
- Language: Demonstrate English proficiency at CEFR level C1.
