About the Platform
In today’s digital age, the success of the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) depends on a secure cyberspace. To address this, the ESDC Cyber education, training, exercise and evaluation Platform, through the ESDC Cyber network, provides cutting-edge training for civilian and military personnel. Covering areas such as cybersecurity, cyber defence and cybercrime, the platform ensures harmonised, high-impact education through collaboration with EU entities, Member States, and their institutions, whose contributions are essential to its success.
Additionally, it plays a key role in enhancing external cybersecurity capabilities in regions such as the Western Balkans, the Indo-Pacific, and MENA countries or Eastern Partnership countries. This effort supports EU-NATO cooperation through training, capacity building, exercises, and research. A major focus is also placed on emerging technologies, including deep learning and artificial intelligence.
