During the 28th โ€“ 30thย April, the European Security and Defence College held the โ€˜Challenges of European Cybersecurityโ€™ course, hosted by theย Ludovika University of Public Service in Budapest, Hungary.

Bringing together cybersecurity professionals, EU officials, academics, and military and civilian experts from across Europe and beyond, the course offered an in-depth look at the dynamic and evolving cyber threat landscape facing the European Union. Participants explored topics such as hybrid threats, cyber defence cooperation, critical infrastructure protection, EU legal frameworks and cyber diplomacy.

The course encouraged knowledge exchange and joint reflection on how to build a more resilient digital Europe. Through expert-led presentations, scenario-based exercises, and interactive discussions, attendees strengthened their understanding of EU cyber policies and improved their capacity to respond to emerging cyber challenges.
