Named in honour of 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘀, this edition pays tribute to a visionary of European integration and enlargement. 🕊️ A firm believer in the transformative power of enlargement for both new and existing EU Member States, he combined political realism with a modern European perspective, serving as Secretary of European Affairs (1984–1989), Deputy and Alternate Minister for Foreign Affairs, and as a Member of the European Parliament (1995–1997).
The course examines the essential policies, developments, and trends shaping the Common Foreign and Security Policy and the Common Security and Defence Policy, fostering in-depth debate on current and emerging challenges, from the European security architecture and the integrated approach to EU crisis management and emerging global threats. 🌍
We are proud to see such a dedicated community of professionals shaping the future of the Common Security and Defence Policy, and we look forward to keeping you updated as the course unfolds. 🛡️
