On Wednesday last week, we concluded the second module of the Senior Strategic Course 2025 - two very intense days of discussions hosted and conducted by Bundesakademie für Sicherheitspolitik (BAKS – Federal Academy for Security Policy).
The Senior Strategic Course is one of the top-level activities from the ESDC’s shelf, engaging participants in leadership positions in an informal way. On the menu presented by the formidable team at BAKS were German officials, policy-makers, academics, and representatives of the defence industry sharing their perspectives on the EU’s and Germany’s Zeitenwende and its implications on strategy, policy, and industry.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to organising team at BAKS, as well as speakers and participants, but also to representatives of the Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office) Germany, German Federal Ministry of Defence | Bundesministerium der Verteidigung, BAKS, and ZIF - Zentrum für Internationale Friedenseinsätze gGmbH, who dedicated valuable time to meet bilaterally with the Acting Head of the ESDC on the margins of the course.
We are anxious to see our distinguished participants again for the third and final module of the Senior Strategic Course 2025, hosted in Paris by the Institute for Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN) and co-organised by the Centro Alti Studi Difesa in May!
